How to upload contacts to Macbook from iPhone 6?

I have looked it up before and followed the instructions and nothing helped.

Half of my contacts are synced, and all the new ones I make are not synced nor do they get synced.

Currently in my iTunes it says its being shared over the air via iCloud, yet they are not there.

it is difficult to communicate via iMessage on my laptop because all the numbers are just numbers rather than contact names.

plz help !!!!
